Who said there weren't any cool little hot spots to visit in Midtown? Let me just tell you, this little spot may just give lush a whole new meaning. Hidden behind a shopping center just off of the famed N. Miami Ave. this bar/club had me pumping till 3am on Friday. For a girl who gave up on the South Beach scene some years back, this little hideout is making me dust off my dancing shoes.
Although you wouldn't expect or imagine it, there is a door man with velvet rope and all manning the flood gates. And although he's extremely hot, I must say his pretension lingered on the verge of bouncers at the old Prive' and that is uncalled for, you're in the back of a shopping center for Gods sakes!
After breaking down the fortress that was the door guy, we managed to make our way in and headed straight for the bar. The place was packed, the music was thumping and all were smiling, especially me! Champagne was in order as we had some friends in from LA and tequila (to-kill-ya) shots too (bad idea) but I haven't had fun like this since Summer of 05, man what a year! ;)
So thank you Bardot's for reminding me that the dancing girl in me still exists!
